Alex Tawfiq
Alex founded Insight Investigations & Mediation after 22 years working in law and workplace investigations. Alex started his career as a human rights lawyer in London before moving into workplace investigations in Sydney. With fifteen years as the Principal Investigation Manager for South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health Districts he has conducted an enormous range of high level investigations and appeared in the Industrial Relations Commission, Fair Work Commission, Anti-Discrimination Board and NCAT.
Alex also has extensive experience conducting investigations in education, after school services and religious organisations, specialising in reportable conduct and bullying investigations. Alex was also selected to be part of an expert panel held by the NSW Ombudsman on reportable conduct investigations.
Alex supervises the Insight Investigators, provides investigation training to organisations and holds the following qualifications:

Certificate IV in Government Investigations
Certificate III in Investigation Services
Accredited Child Protection Investigator from the Association of Independent Schools
Completed the Nationally Accredited Mediator Training Program held by the College of Law

Amanda Hadley
Amanda has an extensive background in health and education investigations with over 20 years, in both the Public and Private Sector.
She is highly experienced in all aspects of investigation, from conducting interviews to provision of analytical reports. Amanda conducts investigations with high standards of probity, efficiency and in accordance with relevant standards, policies and legislation. She is highly skilled in assisting people through the investigation process.
During her time as Senior Investigator and Manager of Investigations at HCCC, Amanda conducted investigations into the professional conduct of health care providers and conducted systemic reviews of hospitals and health facilities.
More recently, as Principal Investigator at Insight Investigations & Mediation, Amanda has focused on investigations involving workplace conduct, child protection and reportable conduct matters.
In addition to investigation of allegations, Amanda is experienced in fact-finding investigations and making policy and systems recommendations to organisations.

Adam Lett
Adam is a highly skilled and experienced Investigator having worked in both the private and public sector. Adam spent over 25 years as a Detective Sergeant with the New South Wales Police and the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission.
Adam worked both nationally investigating all types of crimes and internationally in Asia, Pacific Islands, USA, and Panama on transnational organised crime in support of international law enforcement bodies.
Adam possesses extensive knowledge of all facets of investigation including excellent communication skills that are critical when conducting interviews and managing stakeholders. Adams ability to critically think, assess risk, build rapport, and resolve conflicts has been key to his highly successful career. Adam prides himself on keeping his clients up to date as to the progress of an investigation.
As an Investigator at Insight Investigations and Mediation, Adam’s skills have been used to carrying out investigations into reportable conduct matters, workers compensation matters and bullying and harassment claims.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Policing (Investigations) through Charles Sturt University, a Certificate 3 in Investigations and holds a Master Security Licence.
